Asus Eee Slate B121 up for Pre-order

Though Asus Eee Slate B121 was announced by the mid of the second quarter but is still to arrive in the US market. Excaliber PC’s Facebook wall has said pre orders to have already started and priced at $1499. It is already on sale over Switzerland.

The ASUS Eee Slate B121 model is almost the same as the Eee slate EP121, but with a switch from Windows 7 home premium for Windows 7 Professional.

Other specifications are as its 12.1” display with a 1280 x 800 pixels of resolution. The CPU is an i5-470UM (1.33GHz) processor with a 4GB DDR3 RAM. Storage provided with it is 64GB SSD. For wireless connectivity it has 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0. The 34W/hr battery provided runs the device for about 4-5 hours.
