Teaser
A new version of Snow Leopard security has been released, which might be fixing the issues regarding the last update with the applications designed for PowerPC-based Macs

To rectify some of the errors related to the latest Snow Leopard security, Apple recently released another Security update 2012-001 version 1.1, for the Snow Leopard Macs. As usual Apple mentioned that the update is recommended for all users and improves the security of Mac OS X.

A question regarding the issue of replacing the update has been raised by some of the users who applied the Version 1 of Security Updated 2012-001 released earlier on Wednesday, for Snow leopard. The users found out that they could no longer use applications designed for PowerPC-based Macs after installing the update. The update might have wreaked havoc on files considered crucial to Apple’s Rosetta technology.

This new update released on Friday might have been released to fix that problem however nothing is mentioned about the update yet. Neither anything from the consumers has been reported.

The new updated 2012-001 version 1.1 is a made available via Software Update
