Acer official olympic tablet arriving next month

Acer special edition Olympic tablets will be the same Acer Iconia A510

After Samsung has announced that its Galaxy S III to be the official handset for  this year’s London 2012 Olympic Games, Acer too decided to jump in this race. They have announced that their latest tablet will be the official Olympic tablet. This news was announced last month and now it looks like the tablet will be available for the customers just before a month of the Olympic festivities.

Carphone Warehouse, Europe’s largest independent mobile phone retailer has broke the news that Olympic special Acer Iconia A510 will be coming soon. This tablet is the same A510 that all of us are aware of. It has quad core Tegra 3 CPU, 1GBof DDR2 memory, a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 display, 32 GB of storage, 5 megapixel rear camera and 1 megapixel lens up front. It also has microUSB support and a battery of 9800 mAh.

 It is known that Acer has come up with minor changes like the Olympic Games logo has been stamped on the flip side of the tablet. Along with this they have provided with unlimited access to Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 to catch up with all the favorite events. But once the Games ends on August 13, it will be chargeable at £4.90 per month.

The price of this tablet is yet to be announced but it will be launched in June.
