5.3-inch Galaxy Note will hit the UK on November 17th
Samsung to start shipping their latest Galaxy Note in the UK on the 17th of November as the company confirms. This model was launched at the IFA 2011 last month and it will be delivering a big screen with a digital stylus. This model can be called as a Smartphone-Tablet hybrid as it is small as a Smartphone and features equipped within it resembles a Tablet.
The Galaxy Note has a 5.3inch Super AMOLED HD display which provides a resolution of 1280 x 800pixels. It is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, with Android 2.3 Gingerbread along with various custom applications to support Samsung’s included digital pen.
This model is provided with storage of 16GB which can be extended to 32GB, along with a microSD card slot. Connectivity options provided with this model are Bluetooth 3.0 +HS and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. Two powerful cameras are provided, one at the rear of 8MP with a flash while the other in front of 2MP. The rear camera also has a full HD video recording capability. A standard Li-on 2,500 mAh battery runs this device.
This device is very slim and all its dimensions measures as 146.85 x 82.95 x 9.65 mm (5.78 x 3.26 x 0.38inches) and weighs around 178gm (0.39 pounds).
This model has even been tipped to be arriving shortly in the US with AT&T, and have been even spotted passing through the FCC with 3G bands recently.
