With what might be a higher-quality 2K display than its supposedly upcoming OnePlus namesake and a 3x periscope zoom lens for its rear cameras, the 15 is touted to become one of iQoo's most powerful Android smartphones on its launch.
It might also be one of the best-publicized, as the brand is already offering the chance to grab a spot as an "iQoo 15 Experience Officer" (seemingly analogous to a OnePlus Lab winner) by participating in the brand's ChinaJoy 2025 5v5 Honor of Kings tournament.
The event will be part of iQoo's presence at the 22nd China Digital Entertainment Expo & Conference, which takes place at Shanghai's New International Expo Center from tomorrow (August 1, 2025).
iQoo might not actually unveil the new device until late September 2025 at the earliest, following the launch of its Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC.
The 15 is thought to be joined by an even more premium Pro sibling, thought to augment the vanilla variant's specs (also thought to include a ~7,000mAh battery that charges at 100W via USB-C) with wireless charging.
