The iQOO 15 is slated to launch on October 20 in China as the first device to feature Qualcomm's 5th-gen Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chipset. Confirming the news via Weibo, the company also revealed the official launch colors of the upcoming flagship.
The iQOO 15 will be available in Soaring Cloud Edition, Legend Edition (white), Wilderness Edition (green), and Track Edition (black). In China, the Soaring Cloud Edition will be marketed as the "Lingyun" edition and will likely be the most popular option thanks to its unique color-changing backplate. As we previously reported, this model features a white back with gray patterns that shift to orange when viewed from certain angles, creating a striking crimson cloud effect.
iQOO is also bringing back the white, matte black, and green colorways from the iQOO 13. The green shade appears slightly lighter this time, but the main change comes with the new color-changing edition, which seems to replace the gray finish from the previous flagship. Other details remain scarce for now, but the company has confirmed that the iQOO 15 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and feature a 2K 144Hz OLED display from Samsung.
The iQOO 15 is now available for pre-order in China ahead of its official launch on October 20.
