Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Healthy Wind with HyperOS arrives

Xiaomi has released the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Healthy Wind 1.5HP in China. This smart home device can be used to heat or cool a room and can also help to purify the air in your home.

The Mijia Air Conditioner Pro has an airflow rate of 780 m³ (~27,545 ft³) per hour. According to the company, it can start to heat a room in 60 seconds or being to cool a room in as little as 30 seconds. Xiaomi’s ion purification technology is said to remove 99.9% of certain types of harmful bacteria and viruses, as well as 95% of grass pollen. There is a 56°C (~132°F) high-temperature self-cleaning mode, and the air conditioner can run quietly, producing 16 dB(A) noise.

There is a small integrated display to show the temperature and various settings. Plus, the surrounding colored light indicates the current air quality. According to the product page, the device is has a Level 1 energy efficiency rating in China. Thanks to HyperOS Connect, you can remotely control the air conditioner in the brand’s app or with voice commands, and it can also be linked to other smart home devices. The indoor unit has a white finish and measures 860 x 311 x 208 mm (~33.9 x 12.2 x 8.2 inches).
