SpaceX rolls out Starlink Mini Kit discount and service credit in the US and Canada

Starlink Mini Kit buyers in the US and Canada can take advantage of SpaceX’s latest promo to make mobile connection a bit cheaper. The company is offering a discount on the mini receiving equipment, along with service credit, if purchase and plan activation are completed by July 7.

Customers in the US can save $100 off the regular price of $499 for the Mini Kit. They will receive an additional $100 in service credit, which will be automatically applied in the second month after signing up for a Roam plan.

Over in Canada, Starlink users will pay only CAD 499 instead of CAD 599. They will also get a CAD 150 service credit.

Starlink offers personal roaming monthly plans in the US for $50 per month for 50 GB and $165 for unlimited connection. The same plans cost CAD 70 and CAD 189 per month, respectively.

The Mini Kit is designed for individuals who are often on the move, including travelers and RV enthusiasts. It has a built-in WiFi router and is compact and lightweight enough to go in a backpack. Users can download at speeds of over 100 Mbps, even when in motion, up to 160 km/h. The equipment can also be quickly set up, but it is weather-proof enough to be installed on vehicle roofs using accessories sold by Starlink.
