Let there be light! Clevo's P170EM Barebone (the base of the XMG P702) is impressive like its predecessor: lightning fast hardware, great connectivity, excellent input devices, and various upgrade and configuration possibilities. New features, such as the backlit keyboard, make the 17 inch model into an attractive packet.
Weak points? Pah. No ExpressCard? Oh it’s pretty heavy. But superb screen, excellent input devices, extensive port selection, breath-taking performance… wait for the upcoming Ivy Bridge and especially the Kepler upgrade, and this could be the best machine on the market, certainly for $2100.
positive: performance; sound; bright, vivid and sharp matte display. negative: no ExpressCard.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M:
An upcoming high-end graphics card for large notebooks expected to launch with Ivy Bridge processors in the first half of 2012
Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
2670QM: Fast Quad-core processor clocked at 2.2-3.1 GHz based on the Sandy Bridge architecture with an integrated graphics card and dual-channel DDR3 memory controller.

This weight is representative for typical laptops with a 14-16 inch display-diagonal.
87%: This is a good rating above average. Nevertheless you should not forget, that 10-15% of all notebook-models get a better rating.
