Point of View to start shipping new Mobii Tegra Tablet by year end

The new Mobii will come to US before 2010 ends with a unique Tegra 250 processor

Point of view is back in the limelight again. The Company shot to fame with the introduction of one of the first dual core netbooks to go up for sale in the market. Point of View has a marked presence in the arena of graphic cards as well and has pretty good experience with notebooks and netbooks. However this time it has something new on the cards. Point of View has proudly introduced its brand new Mobii Tegra Tablet.

Specifications

The 10.1-inch Mobii Tegra tablet that weighs 1.6 pounds scores pretty well as far its specs are concerned. It runs on the Google Android 2.2 and comes with processing capabilities powered by a 1GHz dual core NVIDIA Tegra 250 processor, internal memory worth 512MB of RAM and 512MB worth of storage. As far as the display goes, the Mobii Tegra tablet does not disappoint on that front either with a 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive touchscreen display.

Connectivity is ensured owing to the 802.11b/g WiFi and optional 3G that comes along with it. Also it has a 1.3MP camera.to boast of. Other specifications of the 10.1-inch Mobii Tegra tablet include HDMI output, stereo speakers and a headphone jack. The battery is of 3300mAh.

Pricing on the Mobii Tegra tablet is still pretty nebulous with no official word on the same. However what is known to us at this point with certainty is that, in all likelihood the tablet should start shipping before we bid adieu to 2010.
