Nvidia celebrates RTX availability on 500 games and apps
Nvidia has celebrated a new milestone - the RTX technology is now available across 500 games and apps. The ‘500’ mark was achieved five years after the introduction of the very first lineup of RTX graphics cards, which is the RTX 20 series. This was followed by the RTX 30-series and the latest 40-series.
To mark this achievement, the GPU manufacturer has announced giveaways, which includes a $500 gift card for Green Man Gaming, an e-commerce website popular for selling digital copies of video games. Nvidia will also be gifting RTXOn keycaps throughout December. In addition to this, CD PROJEKT RED has also jumped in, and together, they will be giving “something very special” to celebrate Nvidia’s milestone and Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition.
Apart from the giveaways, Nvidia announced that the Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 new map ‘Urzikstan’ will be launched on December 6th with DLSS 3. Along with this, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be adding full ray-tracing and DLSS 3.5 on the same day.
Earlier this year, Nvidia launched the GeForce RTX 40-series, which unlocked DLSS 3.0, advanced ray-tracing, and other AI capabilities for graphics.
