Nokia Division Manager of France, has recently slipped a secret to a publication called the Les Echos. We hardly come across such news revealed early. But this time we seem to be lucky. Paul Amsellem, head of Nokia France has let slip that Nokia plans to release a Windows 8 tablet next year.
If this release arrives to the market as scheduled, then it might be able to give a good competition to the rival like Apple’s iPad 2 or even the Apple iPad 3, if it comes to the market by the time of its release. He not only mentioned about this plan but also said where the Nokia Lumia 800 will sit in the product range. We might even have a full range with a series 7 and Series 3 and by June 2012, we will have tablets running on Windows 8.
With this disclosure it is not only proved that Nokia will be providing a tablet with a Windows 8 platform but also adds to the rumors that although the Lumia 800 is not a Windows platform device but Nokia is planning soon to launch a Windows 8 Tablet.
By the way with all these news, the Nokia Lumia 800 is also released in the market and the interested one might give it a try if he feels like.
