New Macbook Pro coming with retina display

Teaser
Thinner and better MacBook is about to be launched in a month.

It might be the time now when Apple will introduce its new version of the 15 inch MacBook Pro. The size of the new MacBook Pro will be trimmed down from the current 15 inch MacBook Pro. It was known from 9to5Mac that the new laptop will have important features like Retina Display, USB 3.0, and it will be thinner. Certainly the new MacBook Pro will be different from the MacBook Air.

According to a report from 9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman the new MacBook Pro will be an ultra-thin version of the current MacBook Pro. It is more robust version of the late 2008 design. This sleek design will not have CD/DVD drive and will have a unibody aluminum case as it is in current MacBooks.

Though the design of the laptop is similar but the major facelift for these laptops will be the “Mac Retina Display” which is said to have a very high resolution. ABC News said not only MacBook Pro but also iMac will have a very high resolution display. Apple also got its new iPad a Retina Display back in March.

The new version of laptops will be powered by Intel’s latest processors named Ivy Bridge. These sets of processors are not only faster than the current generation but also will have improved graphics. The graphics will be provided by Nvidia and the GeForce GT 650M card. It seems that Apple will shift from AMD to Nvidia graphics chips in this new MacBook Pro.

Everything said and heard about the new product will be only believed after it has been launched. We can expect the World Wide Developer’s Conference (WWDC) to be the perfect launching platform for this new laptop display. So it will be an ideal time for the customers holding off on buying a MacBook Pro for a month.
