NVIDIA 28nm GPU roadmap leaks

The upcoming NVIDIA GPU line promises more refinement

From a leak we now came to know a few things about NVIDIA’s new graphics products lined up for release. The leaked products are of the so called N13 family. The list of GPU’s, complete with VRAM, thermal design powers and times of arrival are out on the web.

NVIDIA revealed some times ago that the issues users faced with the 40nm architecture will be amended in the new 28nm ones. Could NVIDIA have achieved this?

Codenamed N13 Series, there are ten chips divided into three categories, according to the target consumer segment. It is evident from the leaked chart that apparently the most powerful N13E-GTX with 2GB GDDR5 Memory will be released after April/May of 2012. Other models with lower memory might get released by the end of this year excluding N13-GE and N13-GS1 which will be having GDDR5 memory may release by January of 2012. The N13E-GTX and N13-GS1 will have a memory interface of 256-bit while most of the others will be having 128 bit and two of them with 64-bit.

The codenames are similar to those with N12 series though they might change till the time of release.
