Motorola's next smartphone is coming on May 13th
LG today sent out invites calling members of the press to an event at the end of May and Motorola appears to have responded in kind. The company today also sent out invites for a special occasion, though this one is set to take place in London on the 13th of May.
The invite begins by mentioning that "great things" happen when people are connected, going on to claim that Motorola's next smartphone will make these connections happen. The new smartphone is also apparently "Made to last. Priced for all.", which could point to the Moto E, a supposedly more affordable version of the Moto G.
Unfortunately, the invite provides little insight into what Motorola's upcoming device will be, though it does appear unlikely to be a successor to the Moto X given the short span since the original launched. In any case, we'll only have to wait a couple weeks to find out what Motorola has stored and make sure to check back here for the latest.
