MSI today announced a refresh of their GE and GT line of gaming notebooks, outfitting the pair with the latest in NVIDIA graphics. The updated GT Dominator and GE Apache notebooks have been made available immediately, and come in a  number of different configurations.

Both series of notebooks will be available in 17" and 16" variants, powered by the latest 5th generation Intel Core i7 CPUs. NVIDIA's GTX 800M series are the stars of the show though, as they supposedly offer 50% better performance than their predecessors along with improved energy efficiency. In addition, both the GT70 and GT60 Dominator notebooks come with up to an NVIDIA GTX 880M, the most powerful card in the lineup.

Other features of the refreshed devices include MSI's SteelSeries Engine for keyboard customization, XSplit Gamecaster for optimization of streaming settings and Dynaudio Speakers. Both notebooks can be purchased immediately, starting at $1,499 for the GT Dominator Series and $1,299 for the GE Apache Series.
