Reviews for the MSI Wind U210-075UK
Source: PC Advisor

MSI has kept the ‘Wind' moniker for its new U210-075UK netbook but, besides the familiar curvy body, almost everything has changed. MSI fits the Wind U210-075UK with a slightly more powerful processor and graphics than most netbooks, although this reduces battery life. Nor did we like the touchpad. Even so, this is an attractive, speedy model that earns a Recommended badge.

ATI Radeon Xpress X1250: It is an onboard graphic chip, implemented on AMD M690G. Sometimes, it is also called Mobility Radeon X1250. It is based on X700 design but with less pixel- and vertex pipelines. It hardly suited for players.
These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.

MV-40: Slow single core processor for small and thin laptops. A bit faster than Atom based systems but the power consumption is also higher.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
12.1": This is a common display format for subnotebooks. Most netbooks have a tinier display. The advantage is, that the subnotebook can be small dimensioned and can be carried easily. Further the small display needs few energy, which improves the battery runtime and in consequence the mobility. The disadvantage is that the reading of texts is a bit exhausting for the eyes, especially with high resolutions.» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.
1.3 kg: This subnotebook is one of the most lightweight of all notebooks and can be carried very easily. There exist only few sub-notebooks, which weight less. 10 inch displays are normal for this class of weight.
MSI: Micro-Star International (MSI), is a Taiwan based computer hardware manufacturer since 1986 best known for desktop computer motherboards. MSI also designs and manufactures graphics cards, barebone PCs, notebook computers, networking products, servers, multimedia, consumer electronics, and storage devices. MSI, as most Taiwanese computer manufacturers, sells products on OEM/ODM basis. It also sells products worldwide based on its own brand name "MSI". The market share of laptops with the MSI brand is rather low.
80%: This rating is not convincing. The laptop is evaluated below average, this is not really a recommendation for purchase.
