Lumia 2520 is the first Windows tablet from Nokia

This slate has a 10.1-inch Full HD display, a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, as well as Windows RT 8.1.

Today Nokia announced the Lumia 2520 Windows tablet, next to two 6-inch Lumia phablets and three Asha smartphones. In addition to these devices, the Finnish company also unveiled new accessories and software applications, including Nokia Storyteller and Video Director.

The Lumia 2520 Windows tablet has the following technical specs and features:

  • Processor: 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800
  • Memory/Storage: 2 GB RAM; 32 GB internal storage and microSD support up to 32 GB more 
  • Display: Gorilla Glass 2 10.1 inch IPS Full HD multitouch with 1,920X1,080 pixels, 665 nits and 218 ppi 
  • Cameras: 2 MP front and 6.7 MP with Zeiss optics in the back
  • Connectivity: 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, micro HDMI, micro USB, NFC, GPS
  • Operating system: Windows RT 8.1
  • Battery/Autonomy: non removable 8,000 mAh; up to 11 hours on a charge and 25 days maximum standby
  • Weight/Dimensions: 1.36 pounds; 6.61X10.51X0.35 inches

The Nokia Lumia 2520 offers a contrast rating of 120 for enhanced outdoor readability, maximum data speed on LTE of 150 Mbps and "will be available in red and white in a glossy finish as well as cyan and black in a matte finish, and is expected to start shipping in Q4 2013 with an estimated price of USD499 before taxes or subsidies."
