9.7” Android IdeaTab tablet is now available for purchase from Lenovo’s online store

Lenovo’s presence in the tablet market has been less than stellar when compared to other manufacturers like ASUS or Samsung, but the company does have a few tricks up their sleeve. First spotted back in April on YouTube, Lenovo’s latest offering, the IdeaTab S2109, can now be purchased via the company’s website.

Lenovo’s largest tablet to date, the IdeaTab S2109 features a 9.7” 1024x768 display, a 1GHz dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processor, 1GB of RAM and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The device also features a microSD expansion slot, SRS surround sound, microHDMI out and is available in 8GB and 16GB flavors with a gunmetal, unibody finish.

Interestingly, Lenovo is already offering a $100 coupon for the 16GB version, and as such, its $349 price tag comes in less than the 8GB’s $389 tag. Interested users can head on over to the Lenovo web store right away, where the tablet has an expected ship date of this Saturday.
