So, would we recommend the Lenovo ThinkPad P52? Well, if you are into pure performance – yes. It is one of the best laptops in the workstation segment you could get. However, if you lean towards a more modernistic feel and representative looks, you should turn your attention to the competition.

So the real question is if you need a mobile workstation today. If you do, then the ThinkPad P52 is a great choice, as are all ThinkPads if they fit your particular use case. It has powerful internals that can be configured with up to a Core i7-8850H CPU or Xeon E-2186M, Nvidia Quadro P3200 graphics, 128GB RAM, and a total of 6TB of storage. It also has a beautiful 15.6-inch 4K touchscreen, or you can get it in 1080p for better battery life.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" from English legend, novo (Latin) for new) was founded in 1984 as a Chinese computer trading company. As of 2004, the company was the largest laptop manufacturer in China and, after acquiring IBM's PC division in 2005, the fourth largest in the world. In addition to desktops and notebooks, the company manufactures monitors, projectors, servers, etc, and specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics, personal computers, software, enterprise solutions and related services.
In 2016, the company ranked first in the world in computer sales. It still held it in 2023 with about 23% global market share. Important product lines are Thinkpad, Legion and Ideapad.
In 2011, it acquired a majority stake in Medion AG, a European computer hardware manufacturer. In 2014, Motorola Mobility was purchased, which gave Lenovo a boost in the smartphone market.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

The peak performance is simlar to the older P4000, but the memory bus is cut down to 192 Bit (from 256 Bit). he Quadro GPUs offer certified drivers, which are optimized for stability and performance in professional applications (CAD, DCC, medical, prospection, and visualizing applications).
