Lenovo Ideapad A10
With the flood of affordable tablets in the market, those on a tight budget have a wider range of options now than ever before. The Lenovo Ideapad A10 is an affordable 10-inch Android tablet that is worth a look for anyone on a smaller budget.
It features dual front-facing Dolby Audio stereo speakers and Dolby app that allows for detailed customization, which audiophiles will appreciate. It sports a 1.3 GHz MediaTek 8121 quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. While it might not sound as impressive, it will be enough to multitask with a few apps and play some of the lighter games available on the Play Store.
As usual, for a budget device, the camera is nothing spectacular. It has a 2MP front-facing camera, which is decent enough for video calls and a 5 MP rear camera, which lacks anything special but is enough for simple photos. The screen is only basic, sporting a 1080 by 800 pixel resolution.
The Ideapad A10 is definitely a budget tablet with its unimpressive specs and screen, but it comes with front-facing Dolby Audio stereo speakers and is fast enough to handle most of the apps that you will use it for.

Thin, bright, and inexpensive. The A10 manages to combine a large 10.1-inch IPS panel with a bright backlight, light weight, mainstream SoC, and a thin bezel with a future update to Android 4.4 KitKat - all for $250. We find out what's the catch to this low-cost, yet attractive consumer tablet from Lenovo.

The Lenovo A10 isn't without competition, and some may find competing tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 superior. Still, I'd go as far to say that the A10 has the best speakers on any tablet in its price range, and that's not something to ignore. Personally, if I were in the market for a 10-inch budget tablet, I'd be torn between Lenovo's tablet and Samsung's.

The Lenovo A10 Tablet fails to excite in a meaningful way, but that's not really the purpose here. While affordable small-screen Android tablets are a dime a dozen, the larger screen format has fallen to the wayside for many budget-minded manufacturers. As such, the A10 comes in at a very palatable $300, and at the time of this writing, Lenovo is offering the A10 for $250 with an instant rebate. If your primary concern is watching videos on a portable device, the A10 is a nice option that's light on the wallet, especially if it's on sale.

The combination of strong everyday performance and solid battery life make the $249 Lenovo A10 a very attractive and affordable tablet. This device costs $50 less than the Toshiba Excite Pure and $80 less than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, making it a bargain for those who don't want to spend twice as much for an iPad or Galaxy Note.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" from English legend, novo (Latin) for new) was founded in 1984 as a Chinese computer trading company. As of 2004, the company was the largest laptop manufacturer in China and, after acquiring IBM's PC division in 2005, the fourth largest in the world. In addition to desktops and notebooks, the company manufactures monitors, projectors, servers, etc, and specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics, personal computers, software, enterprise solutions and related services.
In 2016, the company ranked first in the world in computer sales. It still held it in 2023 with about 23% global market share. Important product lines are Thinkpad, Legion and Ideapad.
In 2011, it acquired a majority stake in Medion AG, a European computer hardware manufacturer. In 2014, Motorola Mobility was purchased, which gave Lenovo a boost in the smartphone market.

68.5%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
