Lem 3 NFC: Improved smartwatch launches at low price with certified ECG and HRV analysis and AMOLED
Lemfofit has an improved version of the Lem 3 on offer, the Lem 3 NFC. The reliability of the heart rate variability measurement and the quality of the ECG produced have supposedly been confirmed by CFDA certification. This refers to the China Food and Drug Administration; there is no certification from the FDA. In the past, we have proved that even inexpensive smartwatches can produce usable electrocardiograms, and the precise measurement of heart rate variability is possible. Many other smartwatches offer this feature, which allows conclusions to be drawn about stress levels, for example.
The advertised NFC feature is likely to be severely limited in its functionality and mostly has to do with its ability to unlock smart door locks. The smartwatch is now equipped with a 1.85-inch screen based on AMOLED technology and has a resolution of 400 x 454. As for materials, the watch is made of plastic, hardened glass and zinc alloy. The standby time is said to be up to 15 days, and the IP67 rating prohibits use while swimming.
A rotating crown is installed on the right side. Activity throughout the day can be recorded, and calls can be taken directly on the watch. Over 100 different sports profiles are reportedly available on the Lem 3 NFC, which can be ordered directly from the manufacturer at a price of $50. Shipping is free.
