The device supports Wi-Fi Direct and Miracast wireless streaming technologies, allowing use with smartphones and tablets.

LG just released what it claims to be „the smallest, lightest and most affordable projector to date”. The LG Minibeam Nano can easily be used with smartphones or tablets thanks to wireless streaming option.

The Minibeam Nano weighs only 0.6 lbs (270 grams) and its dimensions are 108 x 103 x 44 mm. In this tiny body, LG managed to squeeze a 100 ANSI lumen LED lamp, offering 100,000:1 contrast ratio and allowing to beam clear, bright image up to 100 inches in diagonal.

LG’s mini-projector features HDMI input as well as a USB port that can be used for displaying documents and videos from a pendrive. It also supports Wi-Fi Direct and Miracast wireless streaming technologies. The integrated 3800 mAh battery allows for about 2 hours of operation.

LG Minibeam Nano is set to hit the shelves in North America, Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America this month. Pricing has not been revealed yet.
