Kodansha House makes a bold comeback in SoHo - now larger and more immersive than ever

Kodansha House will be back at SoHo this October. Apart from an expanded venue, there is going to be a richer lineup of immersive experiences celebrating manga. There will be interactive exhibits, creator meet-and-greet events, and exclusive portfolio reviews for aspiring manga artists. In all, Kodansha House 2025 is set to have something for everyone.

Manga fans can look forward to an exhilarating October as Kodansha House is set to return to SoHo in Lower Manhattan, New York during that period. It is going to be an exciting world of storytelling and fandom that would be live from October 4 to 9, every day except Monday. Visitors can drop in any time between 12 PM and 9 PM to explore an all-new space designed to celebrate the heart and culture of manga like never before. 

This year's edition of Kodansha House will have lot's more to explore. It promises to build on last year's excitement, adding new layers of discovery, creativity, and connection. As already stated, the venue itself is going to be more expansive this time. There is going to be interactive exhibits, creative workshops, themed gatherings such as date-night events, and exclusive film screenings.

Visitors can also look forward to physical presence of three acclaimed manga artists though the organisers chose not to reveal the names just yet. That is going to be a surprise or might be revealed closer to the event date. There is going to be a lot of focus on manga creators, which includes in-depth showcases and immersive installations. Fans can also engage in one-to-one Q&A sessions with their favorite creators as well.

Apart from these, there will be autograph sessions, providing fans an extraordinary opportunity to meet the creators behind the manga they love. There is going to be something for everybody. You will find story-driven installations inspired by fan favorites such as Attack on Titam, Ghost in the Shell, and Blue Lock. There will also be themed gatherings and community-driven programming, providing fans with ample opportunity to socialise with other enthusiasts.

Aspiring manga artists can also look forward to Kodansha Mochikomi Fresh Ink 2025, which will let them receive a one-on-one portfolio critique from a professional Kodansha editor who will be flown in from Japan. Submissions are going to be accepted till August 10, 11:00 PM EST. Those who make it to the finals will have the chance to meet with top editorial talent for in-person feedback inside Kodansha House.

To those who might not be knowing, Kodansha happens to be the largest publishing house in Japan and has several iconic titles to its credit. That includes Akira, Sailor Moon, Attack on Titan, and Blue Lock
