Ever felt helpless whilst playing your favourite games on the iPad? Well many a times, the experience of gaming using on-screen controls instead of real buttons can be pretty much of a daunting task, common among which are, the experience of feeling your finger often slipping off the on-screen controls, or hitting the wrong buttons because you can’t actually feel the buttons beneath your fingers. The solution to these problems is luckily being addressed. For instance, for just around $25, users can purchase a JOYSTICK-IT or Fling. Upon attaching it to the iPad screen via a suction cup, one can actually get a bit of tactile sensation while interacting with a virtual D-pad.
The Fling system is modelled on a real directional pad. The JOYSTICK-IT on the other hand is designed like a classic video game controller. The only drawback with these accessories is reduced portability.
