QlikView is deployed on iPad by Illes to improve customer satisfaction and giving field sales representative access to their product data and transactions

QlikTech, a leader in Business Discovery, has announced that Illes Seasoning & Flavors has deployed Qlikview on iPad to improve customer interaction by giving field sales representative access. Now using QlikView on the iPad, Illes, a Texas based manufacture of spice blends, flavors and sauces for restaurants and food companies can give its customers a complete and instant visibility into their product data and transactions.

Les Howell, Executive Director of IT, Illes Seasonings and Flavors said they strive to provide their customers with highly customized solutions. He added that it was essential for their sales reps to be able to access real time product data and supply chain updates from the field when they meet with customers. With this user driven business intelligence of Qlikview on the iPad allows them to greatly improve the customer experience and overall satisfaction. They are also in the process of deploying QlikView to their purchasing and supply chain processes.

He believes with QlikView on the iPad, reps can now answer customers' questions instantly during meetings. He explained it as if a customer might give a sales person a box of something like Rice-A-Roni and say, he like this seasoning and is there any way the salesman can match it or make it even better. In such a situation the salesperson can use the QlikView to tap into company data and work with the customer, understand his exact needs and get to an immediate solution.

Earlier, Illes struggled with aggregate timely and accurate data to customers and sales representative lacked up-to-the-minute visibility into customers’ supply chain. To roll out this struggle and improve the customers experience they took this step. The QlikView on the iPad Business Discovery platform to its sales representative has also been helped by Axis Group, a QlikView partner and a leading BI solutions provider.

This QlikView on iPad has really started to show some results as employees could now access and analyze customers' data in real-time, in the office or remotely, process data, provide more information to customers and even make a better and faster business decision. These improvements have also led to a better satisfaction to the customers.
