The Huawei MediaPad is now to get the Ice Cream Sandwich Update. Initially the Huawei tablet was the first 7inch tablet to be powered by Google’s Honeycomb or Android 3.2 which was introduced in early 2011.
The new update is available for download in the download section at the MediaPad website. The new software appears to be pretty close to the Google Android 4.0 experience without many customizations. The new software will include new improved camera application and gallery application, a new people application, the ability to dismiss apps from the menu and other performance tweaks.
The MediaPad features a 7inch screen with 1280 x 800pixels of resolution and a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual core processor.
