Reviews for the Honor 3C
Get the Honor. The young Honor brand of the Chinese manufacturer Huawei adds a new member, which offers a great price-to-performance ratio. A 5-inch HD display, quad-core SoC and dual-SIM functionality – all for 140 Euros (~$149).

The Honor 3C boasts a good screen for the price tag, and trumps some of its rivals when it comes to design and power, but its downfalls include the old software, the disappointing camera and the poor graphics performance. However, for anyone looking for a cheep but cheerful smartphone that will do the trick for browsing the web, social media, messaging, emails, phone calls and more, the Honor 3C is worth considering, but it's also worth looking at similarly-priced alternatives.

If you’re more bothered about saving cash than looks and performance, the Huawei Honor 3C is a decent rival to the Motorola Moto G. It’s fine for the everyday tasks and the camera and screen are both strong for the asking price, although the design, interface and battery life are rather uninspiring.

When you're looking at a smartphone costing merely £110, you simply can't knock the Honor 3C's quality and specification. As I've mentioned previously, beyond the Motorola Moto G there's little else worth considering in this price bracket. Of course, you can spend a little closer to £200 and get something nicer looking or from a more well known brand, but if all you seek is a smartphone with a reasonable sized HD screen and enough oomph to watch video, play the odd game or browse the internet, then the Honor 3C ticks enough boxes to be worth a punt.

This display is tiny. You will probably see very little on the screen and be able to use mini-resolutions.

In 2014 Huawei created the sub brand Honor and offers certain smartphone series under this name. Occasionally the products are also called Huawei Honor.
The market share of Honor products is manageable, but there are several reviews on Honor smartphones with average ratings (as of 2016).
75%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
