HTC publishes five new One M9 promo videos
With the HTC One M9 release date scheduled for late March, the Taiwanese manufacturer is definitely looking to draw attention to its upcoming flagship smartphone. To this end, HTC published five new One M9 promo videos. With these videos, HTC focused entirely on demonstrating the features available on the One M9.
In the One M9 video promo that showcases the improvements in the software department, HTC placed emphasis on several of the new features included in Sense 7.0. The HTC Sense Home widget will display apps based on the user's location, the Themes app allows for quick visual customization, while BlinkFeed has been updated to include restaurant suggestions at certain hours of the day.
Another promo showcases the front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers, which have been updated with support for Dolby surround sound audio. Another feature that HTC has drawn attention to is called HTC Connect, a technology that will allow the user to stream music to any Wi-Fi compatible speakers. The promo demonstrating the cameras first mentions the front-facing Ultrapixel camera, one that promises to allow for better selfies in low light conditions, and then moves on to briefly talk about the main 20MP primary sensor and its durable sapphire crystal lens. The fifth promo video basically sums up all these features in a single "First Look" video.
HTC unveiled the One M9 a couple of weeks ago at MWC 2015. Some of the hardware specs include a 5-inch fullHD display, a high-end octa-core Snapdragon 810 chip, 3GB of RAM, and a non-removable 2840 mAh battery.
