Quiet and frugal. HP only charges around 260 Euros (~$358) for the Compaq 15-h024sg. For this price you get a simple 15.6-inch notebook with a frugal AMD APU and a 500 GB hard drive. The Windows operating system is not provided. Our review shows if the notebook can still convince us despite the low price.

HP: Founded in 1939, the US company is a major server and printer manufacturer and one of the leading IT companies in the world. Until 2015, the company was called Hewlett-Packard Company. After a split, the computer division was renamed HP Inc.
In 2023, HP had an approximate market share of 22% of global PC sales, making it number 2 after Lenovo.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.
AMD Radeon HD 8210:
An integrated GCN-based GPU with 128 shader units and no dedicated VRAM. It is typically clocked at 300 MHz and paired with AMD A4-1250 "Temash" and E1-2100 "Kabini" APUs.
AMD Radeon R2 (Mullins/Beema/Carrizo-L):
Integrated GPU on select AMD Beema or Mullins APUs. Based on the GCN architecture with 128 shader units and a core clock of 300 - 500 MHz.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
NVIDIA GeForce 820M:
Entry level 28nm Fermi GPU from the GeForce 800M series based on the GT 620M and 710M.
