Teaser
Next-gen Nexus 7 tablet goes on sale 4 days early.

Just announced earlier this week, Google's latest Nexus 7 was scheduled to go on sale on July 30th, yet it's already making the rounds at a few stores. Best Buy, Amazon, GameStop and Walmart all decided to release the tablet today, and Google has been forced to followed suite.

According to an announcement on the Google Play Twitter feed, the new Nexus 7 has gone on sale officially through the Google Play store. Shipping still won't begin till the 30th of July, but Google will definitely take your money beforehand, with the 16GB Wi-Fi version going for $229. The 32GB version is also available for $269, but the 4G LTE versions have yet to show up anywhere.

As far as the actual device goes, Google has packed a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU into their latest tablet, along with 2GB of RAM, a full-HD 7" display and Android 4.3. Google also plans on releasing a black sleeve in the future for $29, and that might come around the time the LTE version is released.
