Epic Games is now giving away two new indie games for PC gamers. On top of that, the storefront has decided to offer one of these across Android and iOS in a separate giveaway, full details of which we have covered separately. Now, it has revealed what it has up its sleeve for one of next week's free game offerings too.
As always, the storefront has not confirmed details about its upcoming free mobile game. Instead, it has only outlined the contents of next week's PC deal, which will drop to a single title after a few weeks of twin discounts. Nonetheless, while recent free games have been indie titles, next Thursday will mark the return to a triple-A giveaway.
Specifically, Epic Games has confirmed that it will be discounting Sid Meier's Civilization VI: Platinum Edition in a deal worth an alleged $79.99. Please note that Civilization VI can currently be picked up for just a few dollars as its base game on Steam and for slightly more on consoles. However, the Platinum Edition adds eight packs, including Gathering Storm and Rise and Fall expansions. The full list of packs that will be available to grab from July 17 at 15:00 UTC as part of the Platinum Edition are as follows:
- Australia Civilization & Scenario Pack
- Gathering Storm expansion
- Khmer and Indonesia Civilization & Scenario Pack
- Nubia Civilization & Scenario Pack
- Persia and Macedon Civilization & Scenario Pack
- Poland Civilization & Scenario Pack
- Rise and Fall expansion
- Vikings Scenario Pack
