Business-Allrounder. With the E6510, Dell offers a reworked 15.6 incher intended for professional office duties. Depending on one's demands, the machine comes with various hardware configurations; for instance also with an independent graphic card and an Intel quad core CPU.

The Dell Latitude E6510 is a business laptop that's designed to be extra-durable, while also having bags of power to handle complex number-crunching tasks. 15.6-inch Dell Latitude E6510 laptop is big and bulky, and its keyboard could be better. But our configuration still impressed with its blistering performance and good security features.

Dell has also included its basic Latitude ON operating system, which can be accessed using a quickstart button. This is designed for simple tasks, such as web browsing, and uses less power than the Windows OS. We were highly impressed by the power, features and excellent display offered by the Dell Latitude E6510. Business users with the cash to spare really have no need to look any further.

The Latitude E6510 offers a lot of performance in an attractive business-friendly package, with a gorgeous bright screen and amazing low-light webcam. However, the $1854 configuration we reviewed is not a particularly good value, particularly when compared to the Toshiba Tecra A11. That notebook has the same CPU and only a slightly-slower graphics card, and costs over $600 less. For nearly $2000, you should expect a high-end workstation with a quad core CPU, USB 3.0 ports, and dual hard drives or at least an SSD. However, in one of its lower-priced configurations, the Latitude E6510 can be configured to provide a lot more bang for your buck.

Dell: Dell is a U.S. manufacturer (based in Texas) of computer hardware founded in 1984 and is one of the largest international manufacturers in terms of both market share and notebook models. Its product line includes desktops, notebooks, storage systems, monitors, servers, printers, consumer electronics and peripherals. Dell offers laptops that are suitable for various applications, such as business laptops, gaming laptops, ultra portables and workstations. Dell's business laptops from the Latitude and Precision series are an option for professional users and businesses.
In 2023, Dell had an approximate 17% market share of global PC sales, ranking #3 after Lenovo and HP.
For gaming enthusiasts, Dell's Alienware brand is for gaming notebooks.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.
NVIDIA NVS 3100M: Business graphics card that is based on the GT218 core (e.g. GeForce 305 / 310M) but with drivers that are optimized for stability and compatibility in business applications).

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
820QM:
The Core i7-820QM is a high-end quad core CPU for laptops that clocks due to the Turbo Mode from 1.73-3.06 GHz. Therefore, the processor combines the advantages of fast single core CPUs and slow quad-core CPUs. Hyperthreading allows the simultaneous use of 8 Threads in parallel.

77.91%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
