Moto X Style is expected to hit Motorola's Moto Maker next month as DROID Turbo 2, but will also be available from Verizon (without custom design options).

According to inside info obtained by Phandroid, DROID Turbo 2 will launch outside the US as Moto X Force. This handset has been previously known as Motorola Bounce, and the undisclosed source confirmed some of its specs that entered the rumor mill last month.

Motorola DROID Turbo 2 is expected to come with the following highlights:

  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC
  • Memory/Storage: 3 GB RAM; 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage variants
  • Display: 5.43-inch QHD "shatterproof"
  • Cameras: 5 MP front, 21 MP back
  • Connectivity: nothing mentioned, but most likely 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, micro USB
  • Operating system: Android 6.0 Marshmallow (maybe, nothing rumored for now)
  • Battery: 3760 mAh

Verizon should formally announce the handset on October 15th while the launch should take place two weeks later. Those who choose to purchase the DROID Turbo 2 via Moto Maker will be offered a free design swap/replacement within two years of purchase. In addition to this deal, they will also have more design choices available than those who will pick their handset from a Verizon retail store.
