Specifications wise the Coby NBPC1029 has nothing extra to offer, scores on the design front

Manufacturer of consumer electronics products headquartered in Lake Success, New York, Coby Electronics Corporation did not have much to offer at the CES 2011 in terms of netbooks. The Company this year was seen concentrating majorly on tablets. However one smart looking netbook that was noticed and deserves a mention is the Coby NBPC1029.

Specifications

The Coby NBPC1029 has a 10.2-inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display. Processing is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor. Memory details include the presence of 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive. The netbook comes with Windows 7 Starter Edition OS.

Connectivity is ensured by 802.11b/g Wi-Fi. The Coby NBPC1029 is bundled along with a 0.3MP webcam, and 3 cell, 2200mAh battery.

Design

Design wise the all new Coby NBPC1029 impresses with its attractive chrome edge and buttons by the touchpad. It comes in a slightly angular case and wider keys perched upon the keyboard. No information yet on pricing.
