Reviews for the Asus F555UA-EH71
Source: Laptop Mag Archive.org version
The 15-inch Asus F555UA is a stylish notebook that offers strong performance for the price. We also appreciate the solid audio performance. However, the sub-1080p display and so-so keyboard detract from the user experience. If you want a big-screen notebook that's better for entertainment, you'll want to check out the full-HD screen on the HP Notebook 15, though its shallow keyboard isn't great, either.

Model: The Asus F555UA-EH71 is a laptop designed to cater to the needs of business professionals, multimedia enthusiasts and students. The design of the laptop is professional looking. The Microsoft Windows 10 Home system features a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7-6500U processor, an integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 graphic card, a 500 GB hard drive and 8 GB DDR3L RAM. Its 15.6-inch display features a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and produces rich and detailed looking images thanks to the ASUS Splendid Technology for deeper and richer colors. In addition, ASUS Eyecare helps to protect the users’ eyes when using the laptop for long hours.
The laptop comes with an ergonomic keyboard design, which makes typing comfortable and a touchpad with ASUS Smart Gesture technology, which is sensitive and responsive. A DVD drive and a 3-in-1 card reader, which supports SD, SDHC and SDXC formats, are also included. The connectivity includes has two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, a VGA port, a HDMI port and an audio combo jack. In addition, there is a VGA web camera for video calls. Intel HD Graphics 520: Integrated GPU (GT2) with 24 EUs found on some Skylake CPU models (15 W ULV series).
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
6500U: Skylake-based ULV dual-core processor for thin notebooks and ultrabooks. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 520 GPU and is manufactured in 14 nm.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
