Anker's new Soundcore Work is now official, after a bunch of leaks pertaining to the same surfaced recently. It's a compact AI-powered voice recorder for note-taking and transcribing meetings. The recorder is launching exclusively in Germany and Austria, priced at €159.99 (~$186), and is available on the Soundcore website and Amazon.
The Soundcore Work comes with an integrated magnetic charging dock and includes 300 monthly transcription minutes in the base plan. Users who need more can upgrade to Pro membership (€110.99 per year or €17.99 per month for 1,200 minutes) or purchase additional time in smaller packages. Anker is offering six months of free Pro access for early users until March 2026.
Weighing 10 grams and measuring 2.3 cm, the Soundcore Work can be clipped onto clothing or worn as a pendant. It records with a dual-mic array and uses AI transcription models with up to 97% claimed accuracy. Users can double-tap during recording to highlight key points, which are later compiled into summaries. The device also supports AI-enhanced intelligent summarization and can identify multiple speakers automatically.
All recordings are temporarily processed in the cloud and then deleted after being transferred to the device. Security standards include TLS 1.3 and AES-256 encryption, and Anker says that the data is not retained after processing.
The Soundcore Work runs up to 32 hours on a full charge, with 10-minute fast charging providing 2 additional hours of use. It supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for transferring files and can sync with iPhones via Find My. The device is available in black and white color options, and the retail box includes a USB-C charging cable, a necklace chain, and a magnetic ring.
You can also check out the similarly priced Plaud Note AI voice recorder on Amazon.
