AMD Radeon HD 6530M vs AMD Radeon HD 6570M
AMD Radeon HD 6530M
► remove from comparisonThe AMD Radeon HD 6530M (or ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6530) is a renamed low power version of the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650.
As the 5650, the HD6530M supports DirectX 11, Shader Model 5.0, OpenGL 4.1, OpenCL 1.1, and Directcompute 11. The integrated video processor is still an UVD 2.2 for H.264, VC-1 and MPEG-2 video decoding.
The gaming performance should be on par with a HD 5650 depending on the used graphics memory. Therfore, demanding games like Risen or Battlefield Bad Company 2 can be played in medium to high details fluently. Less demanding games like Fifa 11 should run fluently in Full HD resolution and maximum detail settings.
The power consumption is between 15+ Watt for the chip (according to AMD) and therefore best suited for 13-15" laptops.

► remove from comparisonThe AMD Radeon HD 6570M (or ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6570) is a renamed version of the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730, 5750, or 5770 with support for GDDR5.
As the 5700 series cards, the HD6570M supports DirectX 11, Shader Model 5.0, OpenGL 4.1, OpenCL 1.1, and Directcompute 11. The integrated video processor is still an UVD 2.2 for H.264, VC-1 and MPEG-2 video decoding.
The gaming performance should be somewhere between a HD 5730 and a HD 5770 depending on the used graphics memory and clock rate. Therfore, demanding games like Risen or Battlefield Bad Company 2 can be played in medium to high details fluently. Less demanding games like Fifa 11 should run fluently in Full HD resolution and maximum detail settings.
The appearance of the 6570M was in the technical documents of the HP Pavilion dv7-5000ea (XE378EA) with 1GB GDDR5 as an "ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 6570 Graphics, up to 2806 MB total graphics memory with 1 GB DDR5 dedicated".
The power consumption is between 11-30 Watt for the chip (according to AMD). This fits perfectly the HD 5650 (15-19 Watt) and 5730 (26 Watt) and is therefore best suited for 15" laptops.
