The new Clevo W110ER is a sub-$1000 11.6-inch Gaming Notebook
Recently AVADirect has rolled out the Clevo W110ER Netbook, which is really capable of performing more than regular Netbooks. This can be called as a Netbook only because of its 11.6inch size, but it is capable of even playing games and can be considered a gaming laptop.
AVADirect the Ohio based company is offering the new Clevo W110ER via an online store, which is priced at $937. This device will be sporting an 11.6inch LED display, which is capable of providing a resolution of 1366 x 768pixels. It is also equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M GPU along with an Intel Core i3 2350M dual core processor which has a clock speed of 2.3GHz.
It also has a 4GB of Crucial brand DDR3-1333MHz RAM along with a storage of 750GB Seagate hard drive with 7200 RPM and 16MB cache. It also has a LAN card and a Bluetooth module and comes with a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. Other important features which it includes 9 in 1 memory card reader, GbE LAN, integrated webcam, HDMI output and USB ports.
It also has some upgrade options which include the Ivy Bridge (Intel Core i7 3610QM) processor for $241. It also includes 16GB of RAM and other HDD and SDD options for the customers if they want to upgrade their device. A few paint options are also made available.
As Dell has recently closed the production of their 11inch Alienware line of gaming laptops, this product may get the customers easily who were planning on that device. AVADirect has over ten years of experience in working with custom Netbooks so we may expect this device to be up to the mark or may even exceed our expectations.

Some of the Clevo Resellers are offering this laptop with it's maximum configuration. I.e. i7-3820qm 2.7/3.7 Ghz Quad Core Processor, 16GB (1600) Ram, Solid State drive of your choice, 650 GT (2GB DDR3 Ram). All in that itty bitty package of 11.6". Just wish it had a bit better display i.e. a 95% gamut instead of its stock 45%....

some shops have started offering the i7-3612QM as an upgrade. notably origin pc, who tend to specialize in powerful systems, has stopped offering the 3610QM and _only_ offers the 3612QM. The 3610QM is 45w, while the 3612QM is 35w. I assume that they offer it as an upgrade because it actually performs better (with th 45w part, you also have to buy a new AC adapter and apparently the system is not designed for a 45w part)... hoping notebookcheck will resolve this issue for me :)...

Standard trustworthy Clevo-based chasis? Definitely looking forward to the review of it! It seems even the netbook dimensions cannot stop Clevo from owning the performance market, with those upgrades, it should be a lot faster than most 1k notebooks out there....
