SpaceX has a deal for users who need a fast internet connection in the UK. The promotion will allow its customers to walk away with a Standard Kit for free if they sign up for a specific plan.

The kit usually costs £299 but goes down to zero if customers subscribe to the 12-month Residential plan, which costs £75 per month. The plan offers unlimited data with typical download speeds between 100 and 250 Mbps, making it perfect for streaming content, making video calls, gaming, and working remotely.

The Residential plan is fixed to a location, unlike the Roaming plan, which is meant for people who are always on the move.

SpaceX says the promo is available in select areas, but you can still check if you are eligible. The company will even allow you to trial the service for 30 days, with a full refund possible.

The kit contains everything you need to install, including the receiving dish, the Gen 3 Router, the kickstand, cables, and power supply. SpaceX says you could be set up in minutes and cruising the information highway.

Starlink relies on the world’s largest collection of low Earth orbit satellites, allowing the service to operate even in remote areas where other providers are not present. The receiving kit is engineered to withstand rain, sleet, snow, and wind.
