There have been numerous images of the Nokia EOS smartphone making rounds over the past week, and we now have actual video footage of the device. Just like the PureView 808's 41MP camera, the new EOS will feature a high resolution sensor with Carl Zeiss optics, resulting in quality images even at far magnification.
Thanks to the ViziLeaks blog, a set of images of the EOS have been released along with hands-on video of the device. According to the site, the prototype has a hefty feel to it, but they were unable to evaluate whether it is made of metal or polycarbonate plastic. In addition, the camera sensor only has "XX Mega Pixel" inscribed on it, leaving it a mystery along with the rest of the hardware specifications.
It is rumored that the EOS will be released as the Nokia Lumia 1000 sometime in July, but no official word has been made public. Till then, we'll have to make do with the images below, including the video showing off the camera sensor and shutter action.
