Plenty of Ultra-branded flagships have arrived this year, but not always globally. For context, Samsung, Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi all offer current-generation Ultra-branded smartphones. However, only the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $1,169 on Amazon) are available through official channels in most markets.
According to two leakers, that stance from some Chinese OEMs could change next year. Writing on X, Kartikey Singh reported that one of Oppo or Vivo will offer their next Ultra-branded flagship globally. Please note that while the pair are expected to kick off their next flagship smartphone series later this year, these will likely only consist of the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, as well as the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro.
As the embedded tweet below shows, Singh could not confirm whether Oppo or Vivo plans to offer their next Ultra-branded flagship outside their home market. Instead, @chunvn8888 has chimed in by suggesting it will be Oppo during Q1 2026. Presumably therefore the Find X9 Ultra, this would also imply that Oppo will be bringing its not top smartphone to market less than a year after the introduction of the Find X8 Ultra, which landed in April 2025. Unfortunately, more details are unlikely to arrive until towards the end of the year at the earliest.
