Leak reveals Huawei Watch GT 6 (Pro) with striking design, up to 21 days battery life, ECG and power meter
The successors to the Huawei Watch GT 5 and the Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro will be officially unveiled on September 19. A recent leak revealed that the Huawei Watch GT 6 will be offered with a 41 mm or 46 mm case for €249.99 each, with models with more expensive straps also available for €269.99 or €299.99.
The Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro, on the other hand, costs €379.99 with a stainless steel case, or €509.99 with a titanium case. Winfuture has now published high-resolution product images and details on the features of both watches. According to the report, the design will change only minimally: the displays will reportedly be slightly larger, but Huawei will stick with an octagonal bezel and a digital crown. Significantly larger silicon-carbon batteries are expected to provide longer runtimes.
The 41 mm model reportedly has a battery life of eight days thanks to a 540 mAh battery, while the 46 mm model boasts an 867 mAh battery for twelve days of battery life. In power-saving mode, this supposedly expands up to 14 or 21 days, respectively. Depending on the size, Huawei installs an AMOLED panel with a diagonal of 1.32 inches or 1.47 inches, both with a resolution of 466 x 466.
In addition to the usual health and fitness features, including electrocardiogram (ECG) and sleep and cycle tracking, the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro is said to be the world's first smartwatch that can simulate a power meter when cycling to determine the cyclist's performance in watts. Dual-band GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 6.0, and a water-resistant case up to 50 meters round off the features.
