The follow-up to the Ulefone Armor Pad 4 Ultra (priced at around $380 on Amazon) is set to be officially unveiled at the upcoming IFA 2025. GSMArena has obtained key specifications ahead of the event and shared several images of the tablet, which appears to have become even more extreme in nearly every aspect.
Measuring 27.8 mm (1.1 in) thick and weighing 1.6 kg (3.5 lb), the Ulefone Armor Pad 5 Ultra is said to be waterproof and certified according to IP69K and MIL-STD-810H. One major contributor to its hefty design is the gigantic 24,200 mAh battery, which supports 120-watt charging over USB-C. The tablet itself can also function as a power bank to charge other devices at up to 10 watts. It features an 11-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Under the hood, the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X, paired with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash storage, expandable by up to 2 TB using a microSD card.
One of the device’s most unconventional features is certainly its integrated projector, which offers a peak brightness of 200 lumens and a resolution of 960 x 540. There is also a built-in handle that doubles as an adjustable stand to help align the projection.
One the back, the tablet houses a 64 MP main camera alongside a 64 MP night-vision camera. Ulefone has also equipped it with two rear LED floodlights rated at 1,000 nits. Other notable features include a 32 MP front-facing camera, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Ulefone Armor Pad 5 Ultra is expected to ship with Android 15 and launch at $599. The company is reportedly also planning to release the Armor Pad 5 Pro, a cheaper version without the projector, priced at $499.
