Large Bluetooth speaker with style and power - Marshall Tufton in a practical test
Big Bass Box.
When it was launched, the Marshall Tufton was one of the largest Bluetooth speakers on the market. With the increasingly popular, heavy party speakers, this is no longer quite true; the Tufton sits in a niche between normal Bluetooth speakers and party speakers. Conclusion on the Marshall Tufton
The Marshall Tufton stands out from the Bluetooth speaker competition with its stylish design, but also with its sheer size. The latter means that Marshall can install a really powerful woofer here. Although this ultimately emphasizes kick drums rather than detailed bass tones, it packs a real punch and makes for really fun music listening. Turning the controls also has a really noticeable effect, allowing you to adapt the sound of the Tufton to the genre or specific song.
Apart from the manual knobs, the other features of the Tufton are rather straightforward. There is no app connection, water protection is not really available with IPX2 and it cannot be paired with other speakers either.
