Model: The Doogee X5 Max is a dual SIM dual standby supported smartphone which is very affordable but decent in hardware specification. It features an MTK6580 Quad Core CPU, a Mali-400 MP GPU, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. The storage of the smartphone can be expanded up to 32 GB by adding an SD card, making it capable of supporting up to 40 GB in total storage. The Doogee X5 Max runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Doogee’s customised UI look. It supports multi-language (48 languages) which makes it available for many international users. The network service provided is sold unlocked for worldwide usage.
As for the display, it features a 5.0 inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It has the capacitive buttons at the bottom of the screen which only light up in use, thus it has a very clean looking screen. At the back of the screen, there is a rapid and multi-functional fingerprint sensor, which can be used to unlock your phone or support other apps. The fingerprint sensor is able to detect fingerprint from any angle. For the camera, it features a primary camera of dual 8.0 megapixels f/2.0 aperture lens with flashlight and a front camera of 2.0 megapixels. A dual camera is capable of delivering better low-light shooting and more realistic colors compared to a single camera. It supports video recording, touch focus and autofocus. Users can also capture selfies by just smiling, putting on V-sign or voice commands to trigger the camera's multi-shutter. The night mode makes for better true color in the dark.
One plus point for the Doogee X5 Max is the battery capacity of 4000 mAh. Many smartphones in the market only feature 2000 - 3000 mAh of battery capacity. It can support up to 20 hours continuous talk, 46 hours of music play time, 20 days of standby and 2.5 days of normal usage. Even with large battery capacity, the smartphone still remains very slim at 1.04 cm in thickness and 145 g in weight, which is great. For connectivity, it features WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and FM radio. Even though many smartphones these days support up to 4G, Doogee X5 Max only supports up to 3G. As for input and output interfaces, it has a Micro SIM card slot, a Nano SIM card slot, a 3.5 mm audio out port, a Micro USB slot and a MicroSD card slot. Sensors built into the smartphone include a fingerprint sensor, an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor and an accelerometer.

This display is tiny. You will probably see very little on the screen and be able to use mini-resolutions.

Doogee Mobile Limited Company is a small Chinese manufacturer that produces smartphones under the Doogee brand. The brand is one of the oldest among the classic Chinese cell phones and has existed since 2013. Doogee itself claims to have been founded in Spain, but this is just a marketing trick. Doogee is known for its rugged and outdoor-ready smartphones.
68%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
