It offers four physical cores that operate at a frequency of 1.6GHz (goes up to 2.5GHz through Turbo Core technology) and the integrated Radeon HD 6620G graphics card. Moreover, the laptop sports a 15.6-inch LED-backlit widescreen display with a native resolution of 1366-by-768 pixels and the powerful AMD Radeon HD 7670M GPU with 2GB of dedicated VRAM.
According to the company, this portable computer is further equipped with a DVD Burner (there’s also an optional Blu-ray Combo drive), 8GB of internal dual-channel 1333MHz DDR3 memory, a 750GB (up to 1TB @ 5400RPM) rotating hard drive and Altec Lansing speakers.
Built around an AMD A70M FCH chipset, the updated K53TK model features two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports, D-SUB, an HDMI interface for watching HD content on an external HD monitor/HDTV, FireWire, a 4-in-1 card reader slot and a 1.3MP web camera for video calls.
The device supposedly weighs 2.7kg with the built-in battery that has an autonomy period of up to 4 hours after a single charge and comes with a 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.
