Reviews for the Asus U46SV-WX036V
Silver Arrow. Buyers looking for a compact, reasonably priced, yet attractive multimedia notebook will find the U46SV to their liking. Asus combines a 14 inch case with balanced middle-class hardware. So the question is: do the powerful battery and the graphics switching technology deliver a long battery life?

The Asus U46 certainly delivers on battery life and design style, and the specifications are good. We were a little disappointed by the screen though, and if you fancy this notebook it would be worth taking a look yourself before taking the plunge.

While the Asus U46SV is powerful and its impressive battery life makes up in some part for the bulky build, we'd recommend holding off for the upcoming Asus Zenbook instead.

Overall, the U46S is a laptop that might appear to be ordinary because of it’s size and weight but that couldn’t be further from the truth. It performs better than many other laptops, has a battery life that will last you almost twice as long as some of the other laptops and is easy on the eyes and sturdy in construction. Priced at AED 2,999, it is also easy on your wallet.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.

79%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
