Tacked on to the current Konosuba season 3 lineup, two new episodes titled Red Stream Explosion and Watch Out for Imposters! are now streaming with subs on Crunchyroll.

Konosuba fans have a little extra entertainment this weekend, as Crunchyroll has finally added the season 3 Bonus Stage OVA, which was announced back in February and subsequently aired in Japan in March 2025.

The Bonus Stage OVA consists of 2 episodes, titled Red Stream Explosion and Watch Out for Imposters!, and sees Kazuma’s party recruited to deal with a typhoon spirit. These episodes introduce 4 other adventurers, all of whom look eerily similar to the main characters. But surely that’s a coincidence, especially with names like Ozuma, Acua, Luckless, and Megumi.

These doppelgangers may have more “main character energy” than the actual main characters of Konosuba, especially since they’re being played by some top-notch voice actors. Ozuma is voiced by Tetsu Inada, who plays Endeavor in My Hero Academia, Luckless is played by Ayako Kawasumi, who also played Altria Pendragon in the Fate/ series. Plus, Manaka Iwami and Rumi Okubo, two of the best girls from Oshi no Ko, lent their voices to Acua and Megumi, respectively.

Regardless of the prestigious lineup, fans can be sure their favorites will provide the biggest laughs throughout the roughly hour-long OVA. The new availability on Crunchyroll coincides with the Japanese DVD and BluRay release, and there is currently no word on when dubbed versions might be available.

However, Konosuba fans got one more treat when the OVA first came out with theater screenings in Japan. The comedy anime’s official Twitter/X account revealed that a new sequel series was in production, although details were not included in the post. For now, Konosuba viewers can enjoy the Bonus Stage OVA on Crunchyroll to satisfy their wish for hilarious isekai antics.
