The ATI Mobilty FireGL T2e is a mobile workstation graphics card of the year 2004 and is based on the Mobility Radeon 9700 core. Due to certified drivers, the card is suited for workstation applications like CAD or DCC. With modified (or manually installed) Radeon 9700 drivers, the card behaves like a normal mobility radeon 9700.

The ATI Mobilty FireGL T2 is based on the ATI Mobilty Radeon 9600 graphics card for lapsops. The T2 is a GPU for mobile workstations and offers certified drivers for DCC, CAD and other professional applications. Due to this drivers, the OpenGL performance of the T2 is a lot better than the 9600 performance. With modded drivers, the T2 could be "transformed" into a normal 9600 for games.
